IS LAKELAND UNITED A PROFESSIONAL SOCCER TEAM?No. Lakeland United FC is not a professional soccer team. Rather, we operate as a post-grad bridge academy, utilizing our network with over 300 universities across the country. Our main mission is to focus on the athletic and academic development of out student-athletes, while working on college scholarship deals for the next step on their journey in the United States of America.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM?Through our residential program, student-athletes get access t all soccer related features and expenses, including training sessions from Monday to Friday, games every weekend, UPSL registration fee, away trip expenses (hotels and meals if required), weight room, and travel gear. The Town Center at Lakeside Village, in the heart of Lakeland, offers the players an extremely comfortable housing set up with fully furnished resort-style apartments, featuring a gym, a swimming pool and barbecue area. Meals are also included for every day purposes with our unique system of groceries designed to attend specific needs of every player. We also provide a concierge service that offers every student-athlete 2x airport rides per semester (departure and arrival), drivers license appointments and services, bank account set up and phone line set up.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO PLAY AT LAKELAND UNITED FC?No, there is not an age limit as well as no restrictions and constraints from an eligibility standpoint, meaning even former and/or current professional players can join our program. However, we do work in line with NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA eligibility systems, as well as overall academic degree audits progress.

HOW IS THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS?The bulk of our recruiting process is done through highlight videos and negotiations directly with our Director of Soccer, or other members of the Coaching Staff. To apply, fill out the form on the Join Us page or get in touch via email or WhatsApp. We don't usually hold try outs, apart from specific occasions.
